SSN College of Engineering (SSNCE), established in 1996, is an engineering college located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu . it’s affiliated to Anna University. SSNCE is that the on;y engineering college under the USN chain of institutions.

Students who are children of PIO or Foreign Nationals or NRI also can apply for the program provided they need to have completed their 10+2 level of education or equivalent. If the candidate has not completed 10+2 from CBSE medium, they need to produce a certificate to prove the equivalence of the board and qualifying examination.

Selection of the candidates will be done based on merit and marks scored on 10+2 exams and Q marks scored in Mathematics (M), Physics (P) and Chemistry(C): The formula for calculating the Q marks is mentioned here below;
Q = M + ((P+C) / 2), where M, P and C are percentage marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry respectively.
